The Institute is headed by Rector Shatylo Victor, Doctor of Medicine, professor.
The Institute trains medical specialists according to seven accredited specialties:
1. Medicine
2. Nursing including (Nurse-Bachelor, Nurse-MA)
3. Stomatology
4. Midwifery
5. Orthopedic Stomatology
6. Laboratory diagnostics
In 2011 the establishment received the licence at giving the educational services in
the sphere of higher education “Training the teachers of higher medical educational
establishments of the I-II level of accreditation” training area 1201 “Medicine”.
